Rules
Track rules
A short summary of the 2023 Ascot Park rule book. The rule book is the official text: read it before you race.
In brief
The main points
- Ascot Park MX is private property. The track can refuse entry to anyone and can ban anyone who breaks the rules. Rules can change at any time.
- Everyone entering the gate at any event wears a wrist band at all times.
- Everyone who enters any area of an event signs a release and waiver of liability. Minors need a minor release signed by a parent, legal guardian or authorized adult.
- Rider medical insurance is not provided by Ascot Park. You are responsible for your own insurance.
- No pit riding. Pit vehicles are golf carts, 4-wheelers and 4 and 6 wheel utility vehicles; operators are 16 or older with a valid driver’s license. Pit speed limit: 5 MPH.
- All riders wear a helmet that meets current DOT or SNELL standards whenever riding a motorcycle.
- Sign-up closes one hour before the races start. A $10 late sign-up or class change fee applies after that.
- No refunds or rain checks after your practice has started.
- Riders stay in the marked course, and riding in the reverse direction on the course is forbidden.
- Ask any Ascot Park official if you do not understand a rule.
